Happy B'day, North America.
Basically it started with the doodle of US standing in a grunge-y background until I started to add in elements taken from the Great Seal. And things led to another. The backgrounds is a result of me playing with official symbols. The Great Seal of the United States for Alfred, and the Canadian coat of arms for Matthew. Ugh, the Canadian coat of arms is too complex for me to include everything... Anyway, it's a curse that I can never replicate what I did previously. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
