This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

I would buy your art if i could becuase it always makes me smile, but i'm 13 so unless my mom lets me its a no, you shouldn't be so down on yourself though, I noticed you and so did many others
An awesome artist who doesn't have as many attention as they honestly deserve? How about ~ladykylie. Its amazing how few people actually look at her work, never mind comment on it. I love her style, and the way she colours, and how fast she can come up with her pieces, and honestly I can't see why she wouldn't be so popular. But she isn't.
Regarding your work. If you have no talent, then I suppose my skill is equal to that of a sewer rat. I mean, I get what you're saying, and I can understand what you mean, though not completely (no one really can unless they're experiencing the same thing)but it's not... how to explain. Personally, I think most artists think they have no talent, even if they like their work. It's because they're constantly comparing themselves to others. And I find that to be a good thing at times, because it helps a person really want to improve and grow. But it's important to draw because it makes you happy, and not to lose sight of that.
This doesn't make much sense, does it?
I really can't give you any advice, or say anything that might have a chance of cheering you up, but you're not looking for that anyways, are you?
To me, you are amazingly talented. The way your drawings seem to flow and breathe, and the way your drawn eyes tilt slightly and are narrow but wide at the same time makes me happy.
And it's beautiful.

The problem with here is that it's where I'm from.
It makes me feel sad that you feel so upset about your art. Your art is yours, not anyone else's. They don't have to like it or dislike it, because what matters is if YOU like it. I don't get a lot of views, but that doesn't stop me from drawing or making pixel art! A lot of people are so talented, such as yourself, but sometimes others just don't see how talented they really are. I believe that you are being sucked into the criticism part of art, and that's not the best path to go down, lackofsleep! You have to love your art, and what you do, and HOW you do it. It doesn't matter if you don't get a lot of views, or if you do!
Art is a form of self-expression, not at how talented you are. Some small children draw stick figures (that can have two heads, ten fingers on each hand, and three toes on each foot, etc.) but... they are still happy with their art.
Talent plays only such a small role in art, so I don't see why you must feel so down!
Please, will you cheer up? *hug*
I know I'm a total stranger, and we have never talked prior, but I felt obliged to tell you that no matter what, in SOMEONE'S eyes, your art is the best in the world. I actually love your style very much, because it's so fresh and unique.
Hearing what you said made me upset, and I feel bad that you're upset! (lol, that made no sense XD)
I seriously hope you feel better soon, alright? I'm sorry that this is so long and rambling-y, but I just had to tell you <33
I do like my art. I'm just gonna stop pretending I have any talent at all. Or that notion that ppl actually like my work. Because they're not willing to pay me for it, that shows you how MUCH love there is for my art = ZILCH.
Unique is a blanket term for 'different' and thanks for saying it... but it doesn't make me feel happy/better about it. Unique isn't rare, just draw something different from the norm.
If I had a paypal account, I would for sure pay 10-15$ for your art, though! I'm only 16, so I'm not able to spend money online unless it is through my parents. Even if I had bills and things to pay for, i would still find enough money to spend for your art!
I know how you feel about the talent, and everything. I used to have the same problem. But you just have to really burn it into your head that loving your art is the most important thing! With practice, you will get better and better! If you love your art, as you say, then you can only get better!
Saying you are going to stop pretending to have any talent is not very supportive to yourself! You are a great artist, and you DO have talent! Everyone has their own special thing: some people might be amazing unicyclists, some might be able to balance 30+ plates on sticks all over their body, and some people can draw, or write, or play piano!
Everyone has a certain talent, and if you believe in what you'd like to get accomplished, then you will get better at the talent! It doesn't matter how much money you receive, or how much praise, or how much criticism. If you love your art, then others will see that in your art! They will see the care and time and love you put into the piece.
Even if you put all that time and effort and love into a piece now (which you do!), you can only get better with practice and time!
I'm sorry if this isn't helping at all, or anything, I don't know what to say, really.
it's not a matter of being broke. it's a matter of my art isn't worth the price. Admit it, if Adam Hughes/James Jean were to offer theirs for $4, you'd snap it up in a heartbeat. Without question.

And if I wasnt flat broke I would totally pay for any of it
But, like I said, I am completely broke.
